Crediting Unit

The credit type defined for this credit class is carbon. Credits issued using this credit class will have a 1:1 relationship with VCUs retired on the Verra registry . Each credit issued will represent one VCU, or one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) for emission reduction or removal achieved by a project.
